How we use cookies and similar technologies.

This Cookie Policy explains how Global Young Scientists Hub, Inc. ("GYSH," "we," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies, including local storage and session storage, across our websites.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to support services you request, remember your privacy choices, improve your experience, understand website performance, and measure referral sources. These technologies store information in your browser or on your device.

How we use them

Essential cookies and storage support sign-in, account registration, enrollment, payment flows, service continuity, and site security. They also remember your privacy choices.

Performance and analytics is optional. When enabled, it measures website visits, events, performance, and referral sources so we can improve our services and understand registrations and purchases. Turning this setting off does not prevent registration, sign-in, submissions, or payment.

Your choice

On a first visit without a saved choice, a bottom banner offers Accept all, Reject optional, and Manage. Accept all or saving Performance and analytics as ON enables optional tracking. Reject optional or saving it as OFF leaves optional tracking disabled while essential services remain available. Dismissing the settings window does not save a choice or enable tracking. Your optional choice is saved for 180 days and applies across our official and registration websites in the same browser. You can change it at any time using Manage Cookies in the website footer.

Referral information and retention

Before you make a choice, limited referral codes may travel in links between our websites so the original source can be available if you later enable tracking. We do not write these codes to marketing cookies or browser storage before you enable optional tracking. These URLs may appear in browser history and ordinary website access logs.

Referral details and anonymous identifiers are retained for 90 days. Withdrawal stops new collection; existing records remain until their retention periods expire.

Children and privacy

This Cookie Policy describes browser technologies. It does not replace any parent or guardian notice or consent that may be required before we collect, use, or disclose a child’s personal information. For information about our broader personal information practices, please read our Privacy Policy.
